oh what a shame what a rainy ending given to a perfect dayits times like this i need calvin to knock sense into me. just realised how much these people mean to me. ford scolded me upside down yesterday, and just hearing his voice saying,"velda, you need to learn from this." ; caused my tears to fall. i cry for the care friends show, more than what i feel for myself.

but im okay. because im used to this, i guess. ice cream works all the time. plus a busy busy schedule. =)

have been listening a lot to taylor swift's music these few days, thanks to carmen's introduction of [teardrops on my guitar] during pre-u sem. =) thinks she has a beautiful voice, and coupled with really meaningful lyrics.

im backk! had a great time at pre-u seminar, ironically. granted, there were things i expected that wouldnt be that great, but just because i'd expected it it wasnt as bad. but other than tt, i think seminar group 14 had one of the best times in those five days we were together. other photos up soon, i promise. ^^

that was my thought as i was walking home thinking of stuff. i just suddenly said it out loud in the middle of the carpark. arienai desho; or tts not possible. realise i like to make things up in my head, and end up laughing at myself.
still damn tired. looked at my previous entry and realise how incoherent i sound. my eyes were closing by then, actually.
the rain in the morning was really big. i opened the window, and the wind literally came in gusts. but i like tt kind of wind, and i stoned for a few minutes at the window before had to rush off to prepare for school. =P hope it rains tonight, but not in the morning as i walk to the bus stop. any time else is fine. ^^"
the seniors during the discussion session for grad vid today were fun people. laughed a lot, and learnt a lot from them. school was great for them, and they made me think once again about the 18 weeks we only have left as a class. they will pass in a flash, i know.

my eyes are closing. very tired, busy weekend. ntu on saturday for a sort of orientation to the place and my seminar group. cool group of people though. =)
moher's day was just eating, really. food food food. cantonese theme at maah maah's house. basically any kind of food, just say it in cantonese, and it will be cantonese. even vitasoy is from hong kong! suigu then brought out his newest toy - a nintendo wii! had fun with it man. the controller is just out of this world, damn exciting. played baseball with benji, and couldnt hit his splitter and curveball. i guess its a matter of swinging the bat. well.

had a call from chef calvin today. therefore must thank diana, for noticing my phone was ringing. i miss calvin a lot, and he hasnt contacted me in a while, and i was wondering if he was busy and everything. so today when i heard his voice, i didnt expect it to be him, thought it was shawn initially, because the number was an Unnamed number on the handphone. but when i heard the voice saying, "Velda ah? 你知道我是誰嗎？" couldnt believe my ears. ahh, chef!! the sad thing was the line kept disconnecting, and everytime calvin had to call back, he had to press more than fifty numbers to get my phone to ring. poor thing. but i am glad i got to talk to him, missed his voice so much. hahah.
better stop bout calvin before andre or darryn calls him like my tian mi ba ba or whatever it is lahh.

thought school was rather fulfilling today. multicam production is seriously fun, and im glad we finally got a chance to try it out in studio a today. when we finally go to studio m to try studio directing out, ill be sure to love it. haha! being floor manager was cool, especially when you have a great team of people working with you. andy as SD, joy as AD, andre as VT editor, yanting as vision mixer, siyu and edmund as cameramen, amy as presenter, and louis as guest. haha. tanoshii tanoshii!
[i heart MOM] came out well. i think our video touched quite a number of people, and im glad. we managed to bring out tt heartwarming feel we were thinking of right from the start of he production. ^^ loved everyone's dedications, jason's one moved me to tears. =) a great big thankyou from qweek! to everyone who helped out one way or another in this.
spiderman 3 yesterday was only fun because i watched it with people i love. the script is nothing to rave about, and the whole row of us even burst out in laughter at many parts. what a disappointment. but we all had a great talk after tt during dinner, and i think we all realised something new about ourselves tt day. im glad i managed to tell people i really care about what i havent been able to say. :) hor everyone? we need more sessions like this then.
5am tomorrow to get to ntu. argh! i need sleeppp.

i only write in japanese when there are stuff i dont want to say out, when there are stuff i need to speak out just to make myself feel better. but with my friends' increasing skills in the language, haha, writing in japanese's not becoming any much private anymore. well.
この一周から気持ちは不安定なんでした。自分の気持ちは本当にどうなんだって知らないんだ。好きにいけない人が、好きになるって、相当ヤバイですよね。昔からもうこの男が気になって、あの時から好きになったかもしれないですかね。別の人が好きって聞いた後、諦めましたよ、私。でも、この一周また「カレが私の事も気になってかな」という考えが現れた。ダメと分かるけど、気持ちが止めないね。もう我慢できない。

strudel craving has been satisfied, finally. shawn, mel, and edmond at ritz thomson eating strudel/crumble/whatever pastry = lame moments + racist jokes. -_-" supper with andy and darryn = more racist comments + gossip + egg cravings. =P group meetings at mama bakery with qweek! = yummy bread + girl-beohing with andre?! wahaha. i just did three equations!
air vocal performances to 98degrees, eltonjohn and michaeljackson crack us all up. especially when andre cnt catch louis in his arms.

in yanting's words, this was one good day. loved it loved it! school was great, laughter and smiles all around. =)
a new place i have to introduce to everyone. novena's new mall, square2, has a great bakery on the second floor just next to the escalators. it's called MaMa Bakery, and is a japanese bakery run by the sweetest old woman you have ever seen. she's so nice, it made me go back today after visiting it once last week. the anpan is really good, btw, and andre can attest to that. ^^ so today, with six classmates in tow, we visited the place to have yummy bread and experience great service.
i had fun conversing with okaasan, a female assistant there, and okaasan's son, hiroshi. =P they were reallly nice people, this is like the second time they gave us free bread lah! promised myself i will go back often. too bad hiroshi is only here on holiday, he's returning to tokyo the day after tomorrow. but he was really nice as well. ^^ you'll need to talk to me personally to understand how nice they were. haha. they really made my day.
somehow people in square2 were all really nice. there were smiles from vendors when we went to buy food, smiles from boutique salegirls.. everyone.
i had a great day. except my hair didnt want to cooperate. haha.

new song by arashi out today! nice nice! top on the oricon charts today. the PV is really good, havent seen such a good one in ages. nino looks super good, aiba, sho, matsujun.. ohno.. okay lah, everyone looks good in this one. and the song made me happy immediately. haha. met two people from SIDM, vanessa and audrey today, and haha, they're both fans. at least, vanessa is an arashi fan. =) audrey's more of the kinki kids person. ^^
pjc today for a dry run of the presentation.. got to see pre-u seminar people i havent seen in a while. our multimedia part is genius man - the talent of vanessa, audrey and everybody else involved in that. darren, amanda and paul are great as presenters, so i think the nyp team will do fine during the pre-u seminar week itself. its tiring though, need to put aside days for pre-u sem soon, loads of rehearsals coming up.
am trying to finish up [绝代双骄] by tonight. pia-ed through till the 27th disc alr. wonder if i can complete. it's probably one of my favourite chinese period dramas, not that ive watched a lot, but the storyline isnt too bad.
